How ON-Auto Auctions Work

ON-Auto Trading Oy is a professional B2B and B2C vehicle auction platform providing access to vehicle auctions and purchase assistance services across the European market.

The platform is designed for verified buyers, companies, car dealers and approved private customers who want to participate in vehicle auctions in a clear, controlled and transparent way.

Each auction listing may include vehicle details, photos, mileage, technical information, starting price, current bid information, auction end time and purchase conditions. All available information should be reviewed carefully before placing a bid.

Registration and Account Approval

Registration is required before participating in auctions. After registration, users must complete the annual platform access payment of €49.

After the payment is completed, the account is manually reviewed by the ON-Auto Trading Oy team. Bidding rights are activated only after the account has been approved.

ON-Auto Trading Oy may request additional information before approving an account, especially for B2B users, companies, dealers or buyers participating in selected auction sources.

Account types:

B2B account: companies, car dealers, traders and professional vehicle buyers.
B2C account: approved private buyers.

ON-Auto Trading Oy reserves the right to approve, reject, restrict or suspend any account if necessary to protect the platform, sellers, buyers and auction partners.

Bidding Process

To participate in an auction, the buyer must select a vehicle, review the available vehicle information and confirm the bid amount.

All confirmed bids are legally binding. By placing a bid, the buyer confirms that they are ready to complete the purchase if they win the auction.

Minimum bid increments may apply. Some auctions may also include automatic time extension if a bid is placed shortly before the scheduled auction end time. This helps maintain a fair and transparent bidding process.

Winning an Auction

If a buyer wins an auction, the buyer is marked as the winning bidder. ON-Auto Trading Oy will then contact the buyer with further instructions regarding payment, documentation, collection or transport.

Winning an auction creates a binding purchase obligation. Failure to complete a confirmed purchase may lead to account suspension, financial penalties or permanent removal from the platform.

Payments and Fees

The following fees may apply:

Annual platform access fee: €49, required for account activation.
Documentation, handling and purchase preparation fee: €300, added to every completed vehicle purchase.
Transport costs: calculated separately depending on vehicle location, destination country, route, vehicle condition and transport availability.

Some vehicles or auction sources may require a deposit, advance payment or additional confirmation before bidding is allowed.

All payment requirements are communicated before purchase completion.

Documentation and Ownership

After the required payments are completed, ON-Auto Trading Oy assists with the purchase process, documentation preparation and vehicle handover where applicable.

Available documents depend on the vehicle’s country of origin, seller, auction source and registration status. Documents may include a purchase invoice, registration documents, export documents and other relevant paperwork.

Vehicle collection or transport is arranged only after payment confirmation and when the necessary documentation is available.

European Market Coverage

ON-Auto Trading Oy operates from Finland and provides vehicle auction access, purchase assistance, documentation support and transport coordination across the European vehicle market.

Our services may be available for vehicles located in or delivered to the following European countries and European market areas:

Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican City.

Transport, documentation and delivery conditions are confirmed individually for each vehicle. Availability depends on the auction source, seller location, destination country, vehicle condition, documentation status, customs requirements, transport route and applicable legal restrictions.

ON-Auto Trading Oy does not guarantee transport availability to every country, region or location. Final confirmation is always provided before vehicle collection or delivery is arranged.

B2B and B2C Auction Rules

Some auctions are open to both B2B and B2C users, while certain auctions may be restricted to B2B users only.

B2B users may participate in auctions available to their approved account type.
B2C users may view available listings but may not be eligible to bid on B2B-only auctions.
Bidding rights depend on account type, approval status, auction source and specific vehicle conditions.

ON-Auto Trading Oy may request additional buyer verification before allowing bidding on selected vehicles or auction sources.

Buyer Responsibility

Every buyer is responsible for reviewing the vehicle information before placing a bid. This includes photos, mileage, condition reports, technical details, auction terms and any available seller information.

Used vehicles may have signs of wear, previous damage, technical issues, missing equipment or other defects. ON-Auto Trading Oy provides auction access and purchase assistance, but the final purchase decision is always the buyer’s responsibility.
